Yoga Therapy involves working one-to-one with your teacher.  Your yoga will begin with you and move in a way and at a pace that reflects your style of learning.

As a client commitment to regular practice is required.  Following an intitial consultation you will receive a prescriptive practice .. tailormade to maintain your good health and wellbeing at any time, or to address a current condition, challenge or season in life.

One-to-one sessions are also popular with more experienced students wishing to explore deeper into aspects of the practice that are interesting for them personally.

Yoga Therapy is an established complementary health practice, becoming popular as more people experience the benefits of a regular yoga practice and understand the possibilities for its application in daily life.  In the UK Yoga Therapy is regulated by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council [CNHC].  A qualification in yoga therapy is in addition to yoga teacher training.  Olanna followed an in-depth, multi-faceted, two year training in the UK, including working with clients under supervision and is CNHC registered. She then completed a further intensive training at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai – the ‘home’ of Yoga Therapy.  Yoga therapists are required to complete ongoing continuing professional development throughout their careers.
